Recipe for Today-Stuffed Bell Peppers

I really do love the bountiful baskets that we have been getting, granted there has been some items that have stretched me quite a bit to figure out what to do with it. This last round we had gotten quite a few green peppers. I made some up and then stuck them in the freezer.

Stuffed Green Bell Peppers

6-green bell peppers
salt & pepper to taste
1/2lb ground beef
1/3c chopped onion
8 c of tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2c uncooked rice (I use 5min rice)
1c chedder cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cut the peppers and remove seeds. Cook peppers in boiling water for 5min and drain. Sprinkle ea with salt & pepper. Set aside
Brown up the beef and onions. Drain excess fat, season with salt and pepper. Stir in tomatoes, rice, 1/2c water and worcestershire sauce. Pour into your peppers and sprinkle on cheese. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 25 to 30min
