Here we are freezing beans though this turned into a lesson for our 2yr old. As my husband was breaking the ends off, she discovered something inside. Above we are telling her this is a peeling and there is a bean inside.
We then told her..remember this bean as you...The Bean grows and grows like you are. The outside is a peel and inside there is a bean. We then told her she is like that little white bean inside and what is wrapped around it is the peeling, like when Jesus wraps himself around you. So the little bean feels warm and safe. Later on when we seen on the kitchen floor with a bean and informing the dog about what the bean was.
