Recipe-Tuna Croquette and Dipping Sauce
Tuna Croquette and Sauce
3-2.2oz Starkist tuna pouch (1-oil, 1-hickory smoked, 1-lemon pepper)
3-green onions, chopped finely
2 large eggs, beaten
2tsp Dijon Mustard
1 tsp Ponzu Citrus Seasoned Dressing & Sauce (from Kikkoman)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c Italian bread crumbs, divided
Olive oil, for sauteing
Directions
Place tuna, onions, mustard, eggs, ponzu citrus, salt, pepper and 1/4c bread crumbs in medium mixing bowl, stir to combine. Divide mixture into round patties and set aside on parchment paper. Allow to rest 10min. Place remaining crumbs in pie pan.
Heat enough oil to cover the bottom of pan over medium heat until simmering. Drudge the rounds in bread crumb and cook 2 to 3min per side until golden brown then remove and serve.
Dipping Sauce
1/2c mayo
1/2c yogurt
1T dijon mustard
1/2T sugar
3 T ponzu citrus seasoned dressing and sauce
pepper and salt to taste
Mix and serve.
