A 4 weeks ago she came to me and informed me she wanted to be Jessie for Halloween. I hit panic mode because I wasn't sure how, where or when I would get fabric together to throw this costume together. k turns around and says don't worry mom I prayed it will be alright.
3hrs later a lady from our church showed up on our doorstep with a box of play clothes and upon inspection we found the costume Jessie. Talk about a happy dance and one excited little girl.
Yet again I was proven a simple prayer is all that is needed. Well thick headed me had to get another kick in the pants. Last Saturday our lazy boy couch hit the curb after our little dog got stuck in between the cushions and couldn't get out. Well we were talking about it and I had a call saying to get my shoes on and I was going to go look at a couch. I am really thinking one I won't like it, second it will be in horrible condition because it is used, and last of all it wouldn't be in my price range. Well k pipes up I think I will pray and mom it will be what you want. Sure enough got there and fell in love with it and of course the price of it was exactly in my budget. It was also in good condition with some minor wear that I can fix. Another little prayer answered.
It has been a consistent reminder how God is faithful and how a simple pray is answered as a reminder. My last little reminder How we just need to have faith and pray came to me on Saturday after k and I were writing an inventory with our stockpile. K pipes up I need to start praying mom, we need markdown ham, apples and milk. Of course I had to go to the store and what do I find yep you guessed it everything that k mention. It awesome how to see God provide and what a child's faith can do. What miracles have you had this week?
