Need a Laugh-save the pumpkin
I have to say for some odd reason we are in scramble mode of saving the fruits of our Garden this year. There is so much humidity that things are starting to grow with mold on them as soon as they are plucked out of the garden. To tell you how bad in 7yrs of being here I have never once had to deal with mold in our cellar and this year my freezers, water tank, pantry stuff, etc. you will find some mold on. One of the items we are trying to save is k's wonderful big pumpkin. When I went to check on it tonight I notice little tiny spots on it. Oh boy not good so in kick the gears to save the pumpkin.
We got dad to pull the truck out and k and I came a running out of the cellar with the pumpkin. We had to deliver it to Grandma's house so she can help us cut it up and can it tomorrow. Well I tell you this became quit an adventure. I wasn't even 1 block from the house when the silly thing started to roll and 2nd of all sent the seat belt alerts off. So I immediately pulled over and jumped out to fasten the pumpkin in. Oh yes we did buckle him up and lots of looks. You can just hear the laughter start up and what they were saying about the crazy lady buckling a pumpkin in.
So if you can't imagine this I decided to take a picture of our pumpkin sitting nice and snuggly strapped in.
This is one time I wish I had a camera because after getting him adjusted and driving up to the stop, I happened to pull up right next to a cop car, as I was reaching over to make sure seat belt was snug around our pumpkin. The cop looked over and smiled and then looked again and then started laughing.
K hollers out Saving the Pumpkin.
Oh I am sure that cop will have great conversation about the crazy lady driving around with a pumpkin seat belted in the front seat.
