I do seem to have the most unusual adventures in our house and yesterday was one of those days. I found my daughter using the window as a breakfast table which I was informed she was watching the birds and squirrels. Later on she was heading out to the garden to check on it and I heard her start yelling, "Go Away, Shoo!" I asked her what she was doing and she was like I shooing the birds away and all of sudden she hollers....GROUND MOVING, Mom.
Yes it was really moving, I guess from shock or fright I forgot to grab the camera. Our entire garden was filled with worms not just a few, OH NO thousands of worms everything from just a dime size up to huge 3in worms. I informed k to let the birds have them or we won't have a garden. Now I tell you we have had some horror flicks here with creatures.
Thousands of worms covered our front steps and came into the front room, reason for the deck and front room redone.
Flocks of birds and Oh my the 2in bird poop, reason for the snakes in the trees.
Thousands of ants on the sidewalk, which looks black and moving, reason that there is molasses and yeast traps all over.
Mice trapped in the wall, Oh man that stinks trying to find it this is the reason why there is steel wool around pipes until I can re do the plumbing.
Tom cats peeping in the windows, one reason for the new windows being installed.
Squirrels peeping in the front door and tormenting the dog reason that there is now a solid steel door in the front.
I don't need to watch the Sci F channel, we have the real deal here and each year we seem to have something new happen and right now it looks like the worms have the lead. At least if k wants to I can set her up with a fishing worm booth to practice her math and she can make some money.
