Recipe of the Day-Dog treats

I have tried several recipe for dog treats though I think this is our favorite...I know the dog smells it and comes a running. He sits at my feet the whole entire time watching the entire process and then he sits in front of the oven and waits.

Dog Treats

2tsp dry yeast
1/2 c lukewarm water
2 T dry parsley
2 T minced garlic
1 1/2 c of chicken or beef broth
3 T honey
1 egg
5-6 cups of whole wheat flour
optional 1T of left over grease niblets from bacon, beef, etc.

Directions
preheat 350
Large bowl dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in parsley, garlic, broth, honey and egg & grease.
Gradually blend in flour enough to form a stiff dough.
Transfer to floured surface and knead until smooth 3-5min. Shape the dough into a ball then roll out to 1/4 in thick. Using a small bone cookie cutter (can buy at Walmart For $3). Transfer to ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 1/4in apart.
Bake 30min.  Remove from oven and turn over and bake additional 15min until light brown. Cool Overnight.
I have to shut the oven off and lay then all out in oven until morning. These freeze well.
