I just want to apologize I really haven't been posting like I should be and I thought I would just give you a little heads up with what had happened. After Christmas we got hit hard with what we thought were colds and come to find out it was but it wasn't. The silly little thing wouldn't clear up at all and then our little dog went from clean bill of health to not so good. The poor little guy skin was starting to scale, losing fur, and really grouchy most of the time, Not our little pep. It seemed when we left the house we all were sort of ok, but it wasn't until just recently we put two and two together of What maybe going on.
After Christmas our neighbors mind you have no clue and decided to burn Green wood, meaning wood that wasn't dry and to top it off it was elm, and they didn't clean the chimney. And of course all of that smoke decided to come into our house it took us a day to clear the air and we thought it was done over with it. HAHA laugh is on us. What we didn't think about it was it could of be in our furniture, carpet, etc. Then we got hit with colds and all of us seemed to be going down hill and it just wasn't going away. Eyes a watering, sneezing all the time, just plain miserable. Until we found out it could be our house doing it.
So we have had to Freeze our little buts off in 0 degree weather and open up the entire house windows, doors, etc. to see if we can get the air cleaned out. Talk about Freezing we have had to do this at least twice and maybe one more time and it has to sit for at least 15min unless wind is blowing.
Poor K, I have to tell her to gear up just to stay inside, I have also wrapped the dog in blankets, stick my house plants in the dishwasher and just praying that this is the solution to help us all get better. Well with prayers it seems to be working and Our little dog seems to be on the mend. I just wish there was a faster solution though at this point it isn't.
On top of everything else I am having to do deep cleaning and clear out items because with what has happened I have had to wash just about everything that could be washed, and wipe down everything that can be and then cover furniture for the dog. It has not been fun I tell you though on the side note I am sure people are wondering What in The World?
Houseplants in the dishwasher or toys. Large Plastic toys like doll houses in the bathtub. Oh yes We are having a Royal Ball at our house and gladly take invitations if we can to leave.
