Welcome to my World-Garage Renovation Fun

So I really been slacking on posting though I do have a really good excuse. We had a 3 car garage that couldn't be used, literally...the roof was caving in and the other half was this big dead open space that you had to drive on the backyard grass to get into it. So it sat there like that for 6yrs until just a couple of weeks ago and oh boy more we do, the more I am going organize insane over it.  Let me put in a warning though you may get a little envious or jealous over this project. ;)

On that note let me give you a little peak inside and as we progress over the next few months I will post more photos. :)
Alright this is the front of the garage...not much here though we did jack it up and re-enforced walls. We also laid in new beams as you can see there is two windows up above the garage door that is literally a 10ft x 22 ft room. This is what it looks like...will show you what I am going to do there later on :)
On to the backside of the garage, so here is a side shot of how our garage sits, let me tell you there was absolutely no planning at all and what a nightmare, but I am loving it.

So you really want to see inside...OH MY ;)
Alright forgive me I forgot to take shot before we started construction though I will walk you through..so for this side which is the open door back by the clothesline in the above picture is our dead space.
The loft above the front garage is on your right, next to that shelf...seriously not sure why they didn't build stairs, you have to climb it by ladder. Can you just imagine us hauling a tub of Christmas lights up a ladder into that loft...FAT CHANCE. Our luck tub would break or we will spill it before the top or one of us would fall off of  that silly ladder.
Here is different angle shot you can just make out the outline of the door, oh yeah and to your far left is a wooden beam that went all the way across the room. So our first plan of action was to build stairs and a platform and remove that beam.
So here we got our stairs and we did get that beam moved. Then my dad has a light bulb moment...why not extend the platform all the way to the wall and then I have nooky. So I fell in love with that idea and my wheels are turning on what can be done. So for now I have at the top of my stairs and on my right is the entrance into the loft area above the other garage.  This is not done believe me we have some awesome things going into this nooky, so watch for further information on it later.  Here is another Shot of that little nooky.
So with the stair in and platform it hits us we have dead space, What in the world are we going to do with it. This dead space is behind the stairwell and underneath of it. Well I guess you will have to wait for later post cause I sure don't want to give up my secret just yet.
Here is another angle shot and use your imagination and watch for future post to come on this project.
