Below in this first picture which is right inside the garage door in far right corner you can see the stairs.
I had uncovered the bookshelf and by darn it slid right in between the
stairs like it was made for it. I will be changing the contents on the
top 3 shelves from the bowl on top down to the drywall bucket otherwise
everything else will stay put. So What I did was to organize this unit I have each shelf designated for an item. One shelf is for electrical items like wire, boxes, lights, light bulbs, etc.
The next shelf is painting supplies a tub holds the rollers, sticks,
etc. The very last shelf holds shelving brackets and gate parts.shelving brackets and
gate parts
This is the shelving on the left side of the larger bookcase. It is a small bookcase and underneath was part of a old computer desk on wheels, just the top part chopped off. I am still working on that area. This area is for Kay stuff it holds her small outside toys and below it holds all the helmets, wood blocks, balls, etc.
Moving on To what in World is going on under the stairwell, you know fully well I can't leave any dead space unusable. So it hit us why not peg board one side and then across it build a shelf unit. Well at 1am it hit me I may have a shelf that would fit in that spot and sure enough it was like made for it. So below is our pegboard system under the stairs it holds all the tools and items that can hang on it. (minus christmas canes, I had to stick them there temporary). And of course right across from it is the shelving unit which holds the screws, power tools, etc. And Remember no space is dead space. Well behind that bookcase and under the stairs all of my tarps and water hoses are stored...will post a picture later of the item for you.
So stay tuned for more cause believe me the organizing crazy hasn't ended.
