So my lovely household got hit with a virus...no warning, JUST WHAM I am HERE it hit my 4yr old at 4:30am Thursday morning and in 24hr her and I where on antibiotics and hunkered down in the house for the next 6 days. I tell you sleeping in a chair propped up against a wall in her room is really not much sleep. Though there is one thing I have to tell you I didn't have to go and get over counter meds or supplies. I was able to survive on my stockpile, Thank You lord for that. Seriously, best part was having the Kleenex with lotion in it & the kool to touch, OH my goodness they are so nice to have and like my dd said so nice for nose. Ok, I am getting off my soap box cause I sure can go into a story on those kleenex. The other item I was so in love was the wide variety of meds we had if we had one thing we didn't like, find something else and I admit I was enjoying looking at 12 different bags of cough drops and having a major whoop haul over which one to have today. Who would of thought kleenex and cough drops would make someone so happy even when they felt miserable. We even made some kraft projects though I tell you just vegging out was the best. :)
On the 5th day we knew she was starting to feel better cause she came after the dog with a container of lysol wipes. Hollering Peppie I got to clean off germs. Then her dad came home coughing, she popped out from behind the door with a can of lysol, hollering.."STAND BACK, I don't want your germs" The last 24hrs we have scrubbed, washed, and aired out the entire house. She even called her papa and told him he sick, she bringing her lysol over otherwise she was going to stay away from him.
Oh the thrills of Life of being Sick..I am so glad we are rebound though and life will return to the normal chaos :)
