On that note:
I knew we would need toiletries, this is where my stockpile came in and Samples. I hate traveling with large bottles of shampoo, etc and I wanted to eliminate as much of those bottles as I could. So on that note I started signing up for free samples and loads of it..this will not only help with our trip but when we go camping as well. Cool thing is when you head back you have room for your treasures you find. Since November I have been able to collect-shampoo, body wash, facial stuff, dishsoap, laundry soap, etc. all of these items fit in a large gal size ziploc bag. All of our toiletries, soaps, etc. are neatly packed in this container, there is one small gal size ziploc bag not pictured that has the following items in it razors, shaving cream, comb & hairbrush, hair ribbons, 2-toothbrushes for k, replacement heads and spare batteries for our toothbrushes.
In this kit will also be the following large items- kids bubbles, bottle of shampoo/wash combo, detangler, nail polish remover, insect repellent, sunscreen, lotion, adult bodywash, leave in conditioner..
This is how I divided the items up, most of the the bags are quart size:
Each of us got a bag for our vitamins for the entire two weeks, these are snack size baggies.
Hubby got a bag for lotion/bodywash/shampoo
I got 2 separate bags, of course us ladies have more STUFF
one bag is for makeup and another is for soaps
These bags are for everyone:
1-dishsoap
2-laundry
3-dental-flossers, sample mouthwash
4-first aid kit-has alcohol wipes, kids & adult bandaids, itch cream, ointment, Tylenol
5-pain stuff going to need that mostly for me ;)
6-hand disinfectant wipes, I will also be carrying with us 1-large container of hand wipes and 1-large container of disinfectant wipes.
7-toilet wipes-I hate not being able to find a half way decent bathroom and traveling with a 4yr old, definitely going to be needed. more later....
