.I know I haven't posted much though how about a story to kick off with. Story begins for 3 days I have been cleaning a 2 car garage with an upstairs room that is about 10ft x 14ft in order to have a yard sale this weekend. With that in mind, You are probably thinking you are totally out of your mind to do a 3.5mi bike ride. I have to admit, yes I probably did inhale to much dust particles though what makes it even more OH My Goodness is that my bike is a 3 wheel, one speed (that is me) basically a trike with a basket.
So off we went for our wonderful bike ride to be honest with you hills are a booger for me and I sometimes end up like Fred Flintstones with his feet down pushing to go even the tiny ones. I am about 2mi into this ride, and came pedaling around a bend when my eyes made contact with a man on the street and also right in front of me was a hill...no big deal, right. WRONG, so WRONG that man was on a lawn mower and the first thing popping into my head there is no way, absolutely no way that I am in no way going to get beat by a stinking lawn mower. So huffing, puffing, red as a beet, sweat pouring down me like a waterfall (mind you 95 degrees with a slight breeze) I plowed up that hill. The entire time this guy and I making eye contact and occasionally a nod. Then my wonderful friend behind me, who was watching this whole transaction, started yelling, "GO KIM, you are doing it, faster, you got it!" As I blew past this guy on the lawn mower, yelling this is AWESOME. Yea, I am not sure what the guy thought though I am sure he was roaring with laughter after that race. I tell you I went from slow tortoise to a TURBO TORTOISE and it was totally worth it even though I may pay for it. Though it shows with a little stubbornness, ok a Whole lot of that and believing in yourself it can be done.
