Our newest member of our family and making memories

 

    A motto that we have in our house is Make Memories not Enemies.  Not knowing what tomorrow brings it best to take that time ditch the chores and have fun.  This weekend we decided to take full advantage of that and the wonderful weather.  Every year we have leaves goodness at least 3 in deep down our driveway with 60 foot tall oak trees there is always a lot of leaves that needed to be taken care of. 

Meet minnion our new puppy, he is 6mo old and what a goof he is...this is his first time finding leaves.  When we let him in the driveway he had no idea what to do and just stood with one foot in the air frozen then k started jumping on them and away he went. I am not sure who was having more fun and talk about a lot of laughter going around.  It was such a sweet blessing to watch an innocent little dog enjoy life especially after what he has gone through. You see this little guy was abused, beaten and when we first got him scared to death of everything. 

After just 4 weeks of having him and working with him what a turn around this little guy has come. Now you can't tell by his attitude and actions now.  There is some things that trigger a discomfort in him though he always bounces back.

 I am just so happy to see my k and him get along so well and enjoy watching them together.  We can worry about the chores or what needs to be done or take the time and enjoy life. I do have to mention if you do dive in leaves it is one pickle to get them out of your clothes or hair especially being crushed.

So ditch those chores head outside and enjoy the wonderful beauty that God created and don't forget to watch for those little miracles
