This year is already almost over and I know I haven't posted much with all the craziness that we have had going on. This year has been a roller coaster ride and finally seems to be on a even keel as we are reeling into the fall season. I do pray that it will stay that way, I personally have had my share of fun this year. My daughter and I are still doing homeschool and loving it. Lately we have been studying about hawks due to this little guy in the picture. This is Tweeter , a White tailed Kite hawk, who for the past week has fallen out of his tree.
Tweeter and I have had many long discussions, when he falls out of his tree, he has never pecked any of us as we helped stick him back in his tree. In fact now he sits on the lowest branch makes a high pitch whistle to get our attention then proceeds to talk with us and goodness does he chatter or he shows us what his mom has brought him. Quite an entertainment for the day and many times we have been grossed out. I tell you this has become quite a lesson for us as we discovered more about these hawks, how they take flight, what they eat, etc. What an awesome opportunity for both k and I to enjoy this wonderful experience.
