Stockpile, Savings on Clothing part 1

So I have had several inquiries asking me about clothing. Well here is how I do it for my family, now I will tell you that each member of my household gets $200 for the year that is for a family of 3....1 adult male, 1-adult female, and one 4yr old.  Now some years I maybe able to roll that amount over just depends. On another note it is far and few to buy clothes at Walmart for us and second of all I shop off season...On that note this is how I do it.

Online Shopping:
  1.  I am consistently watching the daily websites for discounts on gift certificates.  The sites I use is Groupon, living social, plumdistrict just to name a few.
  2.  If I find a deal on one of these sites...I would then head over to the websites that gave me cashback and see if that store is on it and if there is any other coupons that I can use with it.  These are the sites I use most of the time shopathome.com and mrrebates.com
    • Let me give you an example of one that I most recently bought.
    • I bought my dd ladybug rain boots value $29.99, on sale for $19.99
    • I found a $20 gift certificate for $10 on one of the daily deal sites
        • Out pocket $10
    •  Then I found a code for free shipping + 20% off on anything on a cashback site
        • Out of Pocket  $7.99
    • Plus my cashback site gave me 3% cashback on my purchase which was $1.41
        • So I paid with free shipping $6.58
  3. I also sign up for high end boutiques that require membership only like Totsy
    • watch the blog I do send out invitations when I do find deals.
      • I have gotten for $9.xx sandals that valued at $49.xx this way
  4. Another way I get smashing deals I register for e-mails with my favorite stores in return they send me out coupons,
  5. Being members of AAA we also get coupons to stores, that I can stack with other codes or deals on the cashback sites.
  6. Watch for Discounts in Magazines
    • they like to send out 10% up to 80% deals just to visit websites

In Store Shopping:
  1. Shop end of Season
    1. In April and May I shop for winter items.  In September and October I  shop for summer items.  Example-right now you can snag gloves and hats for $.25 over at Dollar General.
Once I have found pieces that we like then I pair it up with Yard Sale or Thrift Store finds.

Watch for future post on how I can keep track of the codes and deals.
