Well I just want to thank everyone for being loyal readers though we are technically having issues or should I say I am. It has seriously been one of those mornings already and blogging will be a little bit delay until Friday. Just keep reading and you will find out WHY.
First it started out making breakfast using a toaster oven, when all of a sudden POP, POP, and smoke billowing out. Well there goes the toaster oven, no fixing it, so out to dumpster it goes.
Since breakfast ended up being a bowl of cereal, decided to head for a shower, well I turned the shower on and all of sudden my entire bathroom is covered in water, come to find out the entire hose on the shower split wide open. Now I am seriously rethinking of crawling back into bed right now though it will not happen with a 3yr old, so onward I press.
My next brainy idea let me see if I can get some blogging and banking done, when I sat down I heard this BEEP and then a high pitched singing whistle. OH my goodness it can't be, yep the computer overheated because one of the fans quit. Seriously at this point I am frustrated, almost in tears and really, really hating technology. I did get a system jerry rigged up just to run the computer for a few minutes though it is really really slow going until I can get the parts in to fix it.
Well anyways since breakfast, shower, working on computer was a flop. I decided to vacuum, needless to say I got as far as the porch when it decided to quit and I still had 3 rooms to go. Oh gee wilkers it hasn't even hit noon and this is the mess I am in. My next idea was to see if I can get k entertained for about 1hr with elmo, so I can figure out a list of parts to order or run and get, so I can fix everything.
Well that thought lasted a good 10min when k yells out "Houston We have a Problem." So I beeline in to the living room and the TV was all funky, of course it has to do with the cables (yep got to go get new cables).
So I tell k put some music on until I can get a list of parts together and then we will run and get what we need. She looks at me very seriously and says, "mommy u sure it not going to go boom, or scream" Oh man my thought was the same thing and I just pray, pray that it would work.
Well as I sit here and tell you about my morning and waiting for the music. My lovely little daughter put on this song: New Cd from the $Tree-chicken dance
Do you want to laugh and play throw away your blues. reach out your arms and swing your partner. Make like a bird and try to fly, just hook your arms now and cluck like a chicken.
So thanks to my little K for at least lifting my spirits in the middle of a techno issues. I do apologize and will do my best to get out the deals for you though I am only running on 3/4 tank until the parts get here on Wed. then I should be back in full swing.
Thanks again for bearing with me
Kimberly
