Question-How do I save on produce?

I love question time;
the above was a picture of our prepping time and the amount of items we get which varies:
the deal bargain above 9lbs bananas, 6-bell peppers, 1-caulflower, 2-pkges of celery, and 1 pkge of
  mushrooms, 1 gal milk
     all together $12.28 with taxes

Today's Question:  How do I save on produce?

First part Saving on produce:
I always buy produce when it is on sale or in the clearance bin (I pretty much clear the bin, so you may have to beat me to it ;)
Sunmart-marks down every morning their fresh produce
On Sunday night or Monday morning there is always a huge cart of mark down items.

What do I do with it?
Fruit:
 Drying
     -peel and core
-drying time anywhere from 8 to 24hrs
if you don't have dehydrator place on slices on cookie sheet at 250 degrees for 1hr, then flip over and
then just watch every 3min till items don't have moisture in them (tip; use a paper towel dab on if dry
       they are done)
-great as dried fruit-apples, bananas, apricots, grapes, tomatoes

 Freezing
-peel, if needed separate into slices or cut,
-great to freeze-bananas, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, oranges, grapefruit, lemon, limes
(hint these make great ice cubes)

Veggies:
   Drying
-peel, clean guts out if needed, slice
-drying time anywhere from 4hrs to 24hrs
-great as dried veggies-peppers, tomatoes, potatoes
onions (if you can do in garage that is ideal, because you will stink up the neighbourhood, and then u can watch everyone that walks by start crying or you can high tail it out of their for the day)

   Freezing
     -cut, clean guts and slice
     -items that you can freeze:
cauliflower, broccoli, potatoes-blanch in hot water first, then place in baggy, then put immediately in
     freezer
Peppers (clean guts, then bag), tomatoes, garlic (peel then bag), celery (wash, then bag), mushroom (bag)
