Recipe for the Day-Cantaloupe Sorbert

WE love to try new recipes and this is one and it is a keeper.

Cantaloupe Sorbert
1 cantaloupe (2 1/2lbs) peeled and cut into 1in pieces
2 T sugar
2 T lemon juice
fresh mint leaves

Place cantaloupe, sugar, and juice in blender until uniform consistency. Pour into square pan 9x9x2 in. Cover and freeze 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until partially frozen.

Spoon Partially frozen mixture into blender until smooth.  Pour into pan. Cover and freeze about 2hrs or until firm. Let stand 10min at room temperature spoon into dessert dishes or use ice cream maker and freeze.
